I inherited brown curtains when we moved in this house.....they are thick and do the job, not offensive but not great either.....So I have been tormenting myself searching for a magic trick to cheer them up! This is what I came up with:
Recipe Ingredients:
Vintage Fabric - Barcloth
Buttons
Lace
Time: 45 mins
Sew the edges of a long rectangle and one side insideout.
Select pretty vintage buttons.
Sew buttons and lace to create an easy lock.
Now I do not have the boring classic tie backs but a very special set of hand made "belts" with chacacter!
